New Porto Canale headquarters in Cagliari
The Industrial Port of Cagliari, commonly known as the Canal Port, is an infrastructure built in the mid-1980s for the sorting and transportation of container goods. Originally designed to serve local industries, it is now a major container terminal for international trade.
It also plays a crucial role as a docking point for RO-RO ships and, in the near future, will become the city’s only RO-RO and RO-PAX port of call, consolidating its strategic role in maritime transport. Recently, it is also used for the landing and boarding of bulk goods.
The Fradelloni plant, located in close proximity, benefits from this privileged location, resulting in a functional, efficient and designed location for logistics activities.
